BRONX - Cops are looking for a pair of gunmen who stuck up a car wash and bodega in the Bronx and a smoke shop in Manhattan. The gunmen made off with cash, jewelry and in one case a car, the NYPD says.

Back on August 31st, the gunmen robbed a car wash in Van Cortlandt Village. At around 8 pm the masked men approached a customer at the car wash on Bailey Avenue. They stuck a gun in the customer’s face and removed the 38-year-old man’s jewelry and car keys.

The gunmen drove away in the victim’s 2021 Honda Civic. Cops recovered the SUV a short time later.

Cops say the armed robbers struck again almost a month later in Marble Hill. At around 8:20 pm on September 25, the same gunmen walked into the bodega 5223 Broadway Avenue and demanded money as they displayed their guns.

Cops say a third member of the crew entered the bodega and helped the gunmen remove items. The thieves made off with $1,000 worth of merchandise, an employee’s iPhone and $4,000 in cash.

The crew fled in a black sedan.

Twenty minutes later the crew struck again down the road in Inwood. The robbers walked into the smoke shop at 4973 Broadway and waved their guns around demanding cash. The robbers made off with $1,500 in cash.
