Burger King Robber Leaps Over Counter-Video



CAUGHT ON VIDEO - A woman is seen jumping over the counter at a Bronx Burger King in an attempt to steal money from the cash register.

BRONX - A would be thief is caught on video leaping across the counter and trying to steal money from the cash register and fighting off employees at a Bronx Burger King.


Police released the dramatic store surveillance video from inside a McDonald’s on the Grand Concourse across the street from Hostos College.


At around 3 pm on September 13, a woman wearing sunglasses is seen placing her order at the counter. When the employee opens the register, the woman jumps across the counter and grabs $250 cash.




The employees fought back and grabbed the cash from the thief. She then jumped back over the counter and fled.


A 23-year-old victim suffered a cut to the head but refused medical attention.




Police say this is the woman who jumped over the counter at a Bronx Burger King in an attempt to steal money from the cash register.


The thief is described as approximately in her 20s, 5 foot 7 inches tall, with a dark complexion, slim build, and was last seen wearing black sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
