Shoplifter Threatened Bronx Target Worker with a Knife

BRONX LOCAL NEWS - A shoplifter threatened a worker at a Bronx Target with a knife when the employee tried to stop the thief from walking out of the store with a shopping cart full of stolen items, cops said


The NYPD released new surveillance video of the suspect. In the video the suspect is seen going aisle to aisle loading up his shopping cart, which cops say, he did not pay for any of the items. 



At around 1 pm on November 12, the suspect entered the Target store inside the Bronx Terminal Market. According to investigators, the portly man walked through the store and filled up his shopping cart. When he attempted to leave the store without paying, a 40-year-old employee tried to stop him. 


Cops said the shoplifter pulled out a knife and threatened the worker. The thief then ran off. 

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black and green baseball hat, a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
