At around 4 am on October 27, the suspect dressed in a pirate costume was seen on surveillance video wandering around the subway station at Brook Avenue in Mott Haven.  Cops said the Jack Sparrow look like walked over to the turnstile and attacked a 32-year-old male. The pirate repeatedly punched the victim in the face and body. He then ripped the victim’s AirPods out of his ears and then took the sneakers off the man’s feet.  The mugger than ran out of the station.  The victim refused medical attention at the scene.  The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, dark hair and a mustache. BRONX - An MTA train conductor was punched in the face as his train pulled out of a Bronx subway station. The NYPD announced an arrest in the assault. 




Police arrested 30-year-old Kevin Douglas in the assault on an MTA employee. Douglas was charged with two counts of assault. 



At around 10:30 pm on November 2, a 32-year-old train conductor was working at the East 138th Street subway station. Cops said as the Number 6 train was pulling out of the station, the conductor was at his post looking out the window of the car checking the train.

As the train moved on, a man standing on the platform punched the conductor in the face without warning.




The attacker fled the station. However, an investigation led to surveillance video which led police to Douglas. 



It is unclear the motive for the assault.
