Barefoot Attacker Beats Man After he Tries to Sneak into Building

BRONX - A dispute over gaining entry to the lobby of an apartment building could have led to a vicious beat down by a barefoot attacker, cops said.
At around 2:30 pm on September 2, a 66-year-old man used his key to gain access the lobby of his apartment building in the vicinity of West 169 Street and Nelson Avenue. Cops said another man tried to enter the building alongside the tenant who questioned whether he lived in the building.

An argument ensued and ended in violence.
The man who snuck into the building formed a closed fist and punched the 66-year-old in the back of the head. The tenant fell to the ground and injured his right leg above the knee.
The attacker then proceeded to repeatedly kick the victim in the back as he lay on the ground.
The attacker fled the building in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to Bronx Care Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male who is between the ages of 30 and 40. He is 5 foot 7 and 140 pounds. He has black hair and was last seen wearing a white tan top, multi-colored pants, white hooded sweatshirt around waist and barefooted.
