BRONX, NY — Lincoln Hospital brought the South Bronx community together on August 20 for its annual Lincoln Hospital Summer Concert Series, creating an afternoon filled with live music, cultural celebration, community resources, and connection. The concert was sponsored by Oresky & Associates.

Held on the hospital’s patio, the summer event welcomed more than 500 South Bronx community members and Lincoln Hospital employees. The gathering offered an opportunity for neighbors, healthcare workers, families, and community partners to come together while celebrating the rich cultural diversity of the Bronx.

Haitian-Caribbean Music Takes Center Stage

A highlight of the Lincoln Hospital Summer Concert Series was a live performance by a Haitian-Caribbean music band, sponsored by Oresky & Associates. The music brought an energetic Caribbean atmosphere to the event and helped create a festive setting for attendees throughout the afternoon.

As a proud community supporter, the Oresky & Associates team participated in the celebration by distributing hundreds of Oresky caps and shopping bags filled with goodies to community members and hospital employees.

Community Health Resources and Local Connections

Beyond music and entertainment, the Lincoln Hospital event also connected attendees with community and health resources. These resources provided valuable information and opportunities for residents to learn more about services available within the local community.

The combination of entertainment, health information, and community engagement made the event more than just a summer concert. It served as a gathering place where South Bronx residents and hospital employees could connect, celebrate, and access helpful resources.

Caribbean and Latin Flavors Add to the Celebration

Adding to the cultural experience, attendees enjoyed an assortment of Caribbean and Latin snacks throughout the afternoon. The food complemented the Haitian-Caribbean music and created an atmosphere that reflected the vibrant cultures represented throughout the South Bronx.

With live music, food, giveaways, health resources, and community engagement, the August 20 celebration highlighted the importance of bringing people together through shared cultural experiences.
