BRONX, NY - Cops did not have to look to far to find the female suspect wanted in slashing three people outside North Central Bronx Hospital. Investigators said the suspect lived three blocks over from the hospital.
Authorities say 31-year-old Alyana Randolph of West Mosholu Parkway North in the Bronx has been taken into custody in connection to the attack that unfolded outside North Central Bronx Hospital on Kossuth Avenue.
Randolph is facing multiple serious charges, including two counts of attempted murder and three counts of assault following what investigators are calling a violent triple stabbing outside Bronx hospital in NYC.
The incident happened around 6:00 p.m. outside NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx, located at 3424 Kossuth Avenue. Police say tensions escalated quickly after three men became involved in a heated dispute with a man and woman near the hospital entrance.
According to investigators, the argument suddenly turned violent when the female suspect allegedly pulled out a cutting instrument and began attacking the victims one after another in what witnesses described as a terrifying scene.
Officials say the first victim, a 28-year-old man, suffered a slash wound to his hand during the altercation. An 18-year-old man was stabbed in the torso, while a 24-year-old man sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper back and head.
Despite their injuries, all three victims were able to make their way inside the hospital for emergency treatment. Medical staff at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx treated the men, who are all currently listed in stable condition.
Residents in the surrounding neighborhood say the violence has left many people shaken, especially because the attack happened during the early evening hours in a busy public area.
Police have not yet released additional details about what sparked the confrontation or whether more arrests are expected. Investigators are still working to determine the full sequence of events leading up to the attack.
The arrest marks a major development in what many are calling one of the more disturbing Bronx hospital area violent crime incidents in 2026.
