The 50-year-old victim was standing on the southbound 6 train platform when he was approached by an unidentified individual. What began as an interaction quickly escalated into a confrontation.

Witness accounts and initial reports indicate that the suspect engaged the victim in a dispute before pulling out a knife and attacking. The victim was stabbed in the left arm during the altercation, prompting immediate concern among bystanders.
