NYPD Seeks Public Help Identifying Suspect in Bronx Stabbing Near 1501 Bryant Avenue

BRONX, NY - Cops are asking for the public’s help to find the attacker who repeatedly stabbed a man on a Bronx straight for apparently no reason. 


According to police, the assault took place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at approximately 10:25 a.m., directly in front of 1501 Bryant Avenue in the Bronx within the 42nd Precinct. Authorities say a 21-year-old man was approached by an unidentified individual in what quickly escalated into a dangerous and unprovoked attack.




Police reports indicate that the suspect displayed a cutting instrument before stabbing the victim multiple times. The victim sustained injuries to the forearm, leg, and torso during the daylight stabbing attack in the Bronx near Bryant Avenue.


After carrying out the attack, the suspect fled the scene eastbound on Jennings Street in a gray Honda after Bronx stabbing, leaving the victim injured on the sidewalk.


EMS responded quickly and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Authorities have not released additional details about his recovery.


As of now, the suspect remains unidentified and at large. The NYPD has released photos related to the incident and is urging anyone who may recognize the individual or has information about the gray Honda used in Bronx stabbing suspect escape to come forward.



This case is being actively investigated by officers assigned to the 42nd Precinct, and detectives are working to piece together the events leading up to the attack.


Officials are asking residents in the area and anyone who may have been near Bryant Avenue or Jennings Street around the time of the incident to review any personal surveillance footage or recall suspicious activity related to the Bronx stabbing near 1501 Bryant Avenue on April 10, 2026.
