NYPD Seeks Public Help to Identify Five Individuals in Edenwald Reckless Endangerment Shooting

BRONX, NY - A game of stare downs ended in gunfire when one group of Edenwald youngsters opened fire on another. Now cops are looking for five suspects to find the triggerman in the shooting.



 

According to NYPD reports, at approximately 10:53 PM, two groups of people were in the vicinity of 233 Street and Edenwald Avenue in the Bronx when one individual reportedly displayed a firearm and fired multiple shots at the other group. Remarkably, there were no injuries reported, but the situation is being treated with urgency due to the potential danger posed to the public.



After the shooting, the suspects fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on Boyd Avenue. Police are now working to identify these five individuals, and the NYPD has released media images of the suspects in the hopes that someone from the community can provide tips.




This incident has raised concerns about firearm safety and public safety in the Bronx neighborhood near Edenwald Avenue, with local residents urged to remain vigilant. The NYPD reminds the public that even incidents without injuries can pose serious risks and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
