BRONX, NY - A teen was beaten and threatened with a knife in the parking lot of a Co-op City bank. Cops said the attackers robbed the victim of his Air Jordans.
According to police, the incident occurred on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at approximately 1:15 p.m., in front of 500 Baychester Avenue. Authorities say an 18-year-old male was standing outside the location when he was approached by two unidentified suspects.
Investigators report that the suspects displayed a knife, escalating the encounter into a dangerous situation within seconds. The pair then allegedly punched the victim multiple times throughout his body.
The items stolen included approximately $300 in U.S. currency and a pair of Jordan sneakers. After the robbery, the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, heading in an undetermined direction, following the robbery of a teenager near 500 Baychester Avenue in the Bronx.
