Scooter Beating on Subway - 3 Teens Jumped by Gang of 9 on Bronx Subway - Scooter Used in Attack

BRONX, NY - Three teens were jumped by 9 attackers and were kicked, punched, stabbed and beaten with a scooter at a Bronx subway station, the NYPD says.
According to police, the Bronx subway robbery happened on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at approximately 6:50 p.m. on a northbound 2 train at Bronx Park East subway station, within the confines of the 49th Precinct and Transit District 12.
Authorities say three young male victims—two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old—were approached by a group of nine unidentified suspects on a Bronx subway train. What followed was a violent group assault on public transit in the Bronx.
Police report that the suspects punched and kicked the victims repeatedly, targeting their faces and bodies. During the subway assault, two of the suspects escalated the violence by using a scooter as a weapon, striking the victims multiple times.
Even more concerning, one of the attackers allegedly displayed a knife and slashed a victim during the Bronx subway robbery, causing a head injury.
After the assault, the suspects forcibly removed property from the victims. Items stolen in the robbery on the 2 train in the Bronx included: two cell phones, a backpack and headphones
The suspects then fled the Bronx Park East subway station on foot, heading to unknown locations, according to police.
All three victims sustained minor injuries following the NYC subway attack.
Two of the victims—an 18-year-old and the 19-year-old—were transported by private means to Montefiore Einstein Hospital, where they were treated and listed in stable condition after the Bronx subway assault.
Investigators have released descriptions of the nine suspects wanted for questioning in the Bronx subway robbery case in hopes the public can help identify them.
The NYPD investigation into the Bronx subway robbery and assault remains ongoing as authorities work to identify and locate those responsible for the violent attack on a 2 train in New York City.
