Crazed Dodger Fan Stabs Customer Inside Bronx Bodega

BRONX, NY - Maybe he just hates being in Yankees country. A crazed Dodger fan stabbed a man during a dispute inside a Bronx bodega.
According to police, the assault occurred on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at approximately 4:45 p.m. inside a store located at 16 East 183rd Street in the Bronx, within the 46th Precinct. The case is now being investigated as a Bronx bodega stabbing March 2026.
Authorities report that the suspect approached the 65-year-old male victim and initiated a verbal dispute, leading to a verbal dispute escalating into stabbing inside Bronx convenience store. The confrontation quickly turned violent when the unidentified individual produced a sharp object and carried out a stabbing attack on elderly man in Bronx bodega.
Police say the attacker then continued the assault by striking the victim multiple times in a brutal physical assault involving head butting during NYC attack.
This incident highlights growing concerns about violent altercations inside neighborhood bodegas in New York City.
EMS responded to the scene shortly after the attack. The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition following the Bronx bodega stabbing leaving victim hospitalized.
Officials have not released the victim’s identity but confirmed that the injuries stem from a non-fatal stabbing incident involving senior citizen in Bronx.
The suspect remains at large, and police have released a description to assist in identifying the individual connected to the NYPD search for Bronx stabbing suspect still at large.
The suspect is described as a male in his 30s, with a medium complexion. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall.
At the time of the incident, he was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white T-shirt, blue pants and a blue LA Dodgers cap.
Following the attack, the suspect fled on foot in and was last seen traveling eastbound along East 183rd Street.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and canvassing the area as part of efforts tied to the ongoing investigation into violent Bronx convenience store stabbing.
