NYPD Seeks Three Men Wanted in Violent 41st Precinct Bronx Assault Involving Firearm Discharge on Hunts Point Avenue



Trio Punched, Pistol Whipped Victim and Then Shot up Bodega

BRONX, NY - The NYPD is looking for a trio of attackers who punched and pistol whipped a man inside a Hunts Point bodega and then shot up the store.


If you were anywhere near Hunts Point that night — or recognize the individuals described below — police are urging you to come forward regarding this active NYPD investigation into a firearm-related assault in Hunts Point Bronx.



According to investigators from the 41st Precinct, the incident happened on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at approximately 11:48 p.m. inside 772 Hunts Point Avenue.


Police say a 40-year-old man became involved in a verbal dispute with three unidentified individuals in what authorities describe as a verbal dispute that escalated into an armed assault in the Bronx. What started as an argument quickly turned into a Bronx gun-involved confrontation resulting in injury and property damage.



One of the men allegedly displayed a firearm and punched the victim in the face. Moments later, another individual reportedly pistol-whipped the victim multiple times in the head.


Authorities also state that the firearm was discharged multiple times during the incident, resulting in property damage.


After the assault, the suspects fled the scene on foot, heading toward Faile Street.


Emergency Medical Services responded quickly and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was listed in stable condition.


Police have not released the victim’s identity, and the investigation remains ongoing.



Authorities have released descriptions of the three individuals sought in connection with this February 19, 2026 armed assault inside 772 Hunts Point Avenue in the Bronx.


The first suspect is described as a male who was last seen wearing a black and yellow baseball cap, a black coat, and a white hooded sweater. Cops said thi suspect is wanted for the pistol-whipping incident.



The second suspect is described as a male who was last seen wearing a multicolored jacket. 


The third suspect is a male who was last seen wearing a black North Face coat, Cops said this suspect is wanted for firing the gun and assaulting the victim.
