BRONX, NY - The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying four male suspects wanted in connection with a violent Bronx robbery pattern in the 44th and 46th Precincts that unfolded during the early morning hours of February 18, 2026.

According to police, the incidents occurred within the confines of the 44th and 46th Precincts and involved armed confrontations on a subway train, on a subway platform, and on a Bronx street. Investigators say the same four individuals are believed to be responsible for all three robberies in what authorities are calling a Bronx subway armed robbery pattern involving four male suspects.

If you were riding the northbound D train near 182 Street and Grand Concourse at 2 a.m., standing on the southbound D train platform at Tremont Avenue subway station, or in the vicinity of East 174 Street and Walton Avenue early morning robbery scene, police want to hear from you.

Incident 1: Armed Robbery on Northbound D Train Near 182 Street and Grand Concourse

Police say the first robbery occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

A 27-year-old man was aboard a northbound D train approaching the 182 Street and Grand Concourse subway station when he was approached by four unidentified males. One of the suspects allegedly snatched the victim’s cellphone directly from his hand in what investigators describe as a Bronx D train cellphone snatching at gunpoint.

When the victim attempted to retrieve his phone, another individual reportedly brandished a firearm and pointed it at him. The suspects exited the train and fled on foot. No injuries were reported in this incident.

Authorities are investigating this as part of a February 18, 2026 Bronx subway robbery spree that stretched across multiple locations within minutes.

Incident 2: 16-Year-Old Robbed at Tremont Avenue Subway Station

Just 20 minutes later, at approximately 2:20 a.m., police say the same group targeted a 16-year-old girl on the southbound D platform at the Tremont Avenue subway station.

According to investigators, this was a Tremont Avenue subway station armed robbery involving knife and firearm. One suspect displayed a knife and demanded property. A second suspect brandished a firearm.

The individual holding the knife snatched the victim’s cellphone. That suspect then boarded a southbound D train. The remaining three fled the station on foot.

Surveillance images obtained from this incident show the four individuals authorities are now working to identify in connection with the early morning Bronx subway robbery pattern on the D line.

Incident 3: Street Robbery Near East 174 Street and Walton Avenue

The robbery pattern continued roughly three hours later.

At approximately 5:05 a.m., a 20-year-old man was walking near East 174 Street and Walton Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct, when he was approached from behind by four males.

Police say the group punched the victim and forcibly removed his cellphone during what investigators describe as a Bronx street robbery involving four suspects and a firearm. When he tried to get his property back, one of the suspects displayed a gun.

The suspects then fled on foot to parts unknown. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.

Authorities are working to determine whether this incident is connected to additional Bronx armed robberies targeting subway riders and pedestrians.
