BRONX, NY — A pair of pajama wearing, crooked foodies robbed a deliveryman of his order in the Bronx, cops said.



The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying two individuals wanted in connection with a robbery targeting a food delivery worker in the Bronx, authorities said.



According to police, the incident occurred Sunday afternoon, February 1, 2026, at approximately 3:25 p.m., in front of 995 Simpson Street in Longwood.





Investigators say a 28-year-old male food delivery worker was completing a delivery when he was approached by two unidentified males acting together. During the encounter, one of the suspects simulated a firearm by placing his hand inside his jacket pocket, creating the impression that he was armed.





At the same time, the second suspect forcibly removed the bag containing food from the victim. Police confirmed that no injuries were reported, and the suspects fled the scene on foot, heading into 985 Simpson Street.


The NYPD has released descriptions of both individuals and is urging anyone who recognizes them to come forward.



The first suspect is decribed as a male between the ages of 20 and 23. He 5 foot 5 inches talle and has black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black coat and gray jeans. 


The second suspect is a male who between the ages of  20 to 23 years old. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall. The suspect was last seen wearing a black Mackage coat with a fur hood and multicolored Snoopy pajama pants



Police say images of the individuals are included in the attached media released as part of the investigation.


The NYPD emphasized that community assistance is critical, especially in cases involving robberies against delivery workers, which remain an ongoing public safety concern across New York City.


Robberies involving food delivery workers in NYC have drawn increased attention as more workers operate on foot and by bicycle, often carrying items that make them targets for theft. Police say timely tips from the public can make a significant difference in quickly resolving cases like this one.


As the investigation continues, the NYPD is asking residents in the area to review security camera footage, stay alert, and report any relevant information.
