NYPD Releases Photos of Suspects in Violent MTA Attack

BRONX LOCAL NEWS - A Bronx teen is fighting for his life after being repeatedly stabbed on an MTA BX38 bus in Baychester, according to police. The violent attack occurred as the 15-year-old was riding home from school, and the NYPD has released photos of two suspects wanted in the Baychester bus stabbing investigation.


Police say that at approximately 2:30 p.m. on December 9, the teen was riding the BX38 bus in Baychester near Bartow Avenue when two unidentified males began arguing with him. The confrontation quickly escalated. One suspect allegedly punched the 15-year-old multiple times, striking him repeatedly throughout his body.





Moments later, the second suspect reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the Bronx teen several times in the chest, authorities said. The attackers fled the bus at Bartow Avenue and Gunther Avenue, running westbound on Bartow Avenue.


EMS transported the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.


NYPD Releases Photos of Suspects in Baychester MTA Bus Stabbing


The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two males involved in this Bronx MTA bus stabbing.


The first suspect is a male who was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and beige boots. 


The second suspect is a male, who was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black-and-white sneakers.
