Bronx Local News: Cell Phone Dispute Turns into Prison-Style Beat Down- Teen Robbed

5 Beat, Rob Teen of Phone, Sneakers By Dan Gesslein  Bronx Voice  November 12, 2025  BRONX LOCAL NEWS : A teenager received a prison-style beat down when a group of men beat and stomped him during a robbery in the Bronx.  The vicious beating happened in Mount Eden on October 27. At around 7 pm, a 16-year-old boy was walking in the vicinity of East 174th Street and Townsend Avenue when he was approached by a male. The man asked the teen to use his cell phone. When the teen refused the man punched him in the face causing the victim to fall to the ground.  While laying on the sidewalk, four of the attacker’s accomplice ran over and began punching and kicking the defenseless teen. Police Seek Three Suspects in Kingsbridge Road Station Stabbing

BRONX LOCAL NEWS: Cops are looking for a trio of attackers who repeatedly stabbed a Bronx subway rider during the morning rush. 


A 45-year-old man is recovering after being repeatedly stabbed by three men during an alleged dispute inside the Kingsbridge Road subway station. According to the NYPD, the attack happened at around 7:30 a.m. on November 7, 2025. The subway rider was standing at the mezzanine level of the station when three men approached him and began arguing with the commuter. 


As the argument became heated, the men started attacking the commuter. According to police, one of the attackers pulled out an “unknown sharp object” and began stabbing the man in the torso, leg and buttocks. 


The attackers then fled the station leaving the victim to bleed inside the subway station. 


EMS arrived on the scene and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital. The victim is listed in stable condition. 


The NYPD has released surveillance images taken from cameras inside the subway station. Investigators said the suspects are all men with dark complexions, believed to be between the ages of 30 and 40. 


The first suspect was last seen wearing a beige coat and a light-colored sweatshirt. 


The second suspect was last seen wearing camouflage pants and a gray sweatshirt. 


The third suspect was dressed in a black jacket, black jeans, and white sneakers.


Investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to come forward.
