Senior Strikes Police Car Outside of CVS in Morris Park

BRONX LOCAL NEWS: A senior citizen drove into the parking lot of CVS in Morris Park and accidentally ran into a police car and suffered minor, yet undisclosed injuries—and was transported to a local hospital.
According to police, the minor fender-bender was reported at 12:20 p.m. outside of 1916 Williamsbridge Road on, November 4. A police official told the Bronx Voice that a 35-year-old male NYPD officer was operating a marked NYPD vehicle traveling southbound on Williamsbridge Road, with the vehicles emergency lights on when the 72-year-old female driving a Nissan SUV attempted to make a left turn and pull into the parking lot of the drug store chain when the two vehicles collided.

The unidentified senior was transported to Jacobi Hospital with minor injuries.
The police official added that the woman was issued one summons for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
