Attacker Slashes in Front of Grocery Store near Crotona Park

BRONX LOCAL NEWS - Cops are trying to determine the motive as to why a Bronx man was slashed repeatedly outside a grocery store in the Crotona Park area. The NYPD released photos of the suspected slasher.
At around 5:30 am on October 27, a 32-year-old man was standing in front of a grocery store at 128 East 174th Street. A bald man walked up to him and began arguing. As the dispute turned heated, the bald man pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the left leg and the left elbow. The attacker then ran off.
The victim was taken by private transportation to BronxCare Health System, where he was treated and is now in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and heavy build. He is bald, with a beard. He was last seen wearing white baseball cap, white insulated vest, blue shirt and ripped jeans.
