Bus Rider Punched for No Reason - Cops Said  The NYPD is searching for this woman in connection with a random assault on a bus rider in the Bronx. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Bronx Voice  May 1, 2024  BRONX - A woman was punched in the head by a deranged passenger on a Bronx bus during a random attack, cops said.  At around 6:41 pm on April 22, a 54-year-old woman was riding aboard the BX39 bus on White Plains Road in Ollinville. A woman walked up to her and, without saying, a word punched her in the head. The attacker then calmly exited the bus at East 219th Street.  The victim was taken to Montefiore Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition.  No motive has been determined so far as to the reason for the attack or why the victim was targeted.  The NYPD released surveillance video from inside the bus. - Cops are looking for a robbery crew that pistol whipped a Bronx laundromat worker and then ran down the block with a stolen cash register.  


At around 3 am on April 12, three men dressed in dark clothing and wearing face masks entered a laundromat at 1309 Boston Road. Cops said one of the men holding a handgun pistol whipped a 67-year-old employee. Then the crew grabbed the cash register off the counter and ran out the door. 




Cops said the robbers were last seen running with the cash register northbound on Boston Road. 


The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was treated for laceration above his left eye. 




Cops said the stolen cash register contained approximately $500. 


The NYPD released surveillance video of the three suspects - one is seen holding a handgun and the other is holding the cash register. 


The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, multicolored pants and multicolored sneakers. 





The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark colored pants and multicolored sneakers. 


The third suspect is described simply as a male whose face was covered with his hood. He was  last seen wearing a green jacket, multicolored briefcase, dark colored pants and black sneakers.
