BRONX - He certainly didn’t dress the part but cops say a man in sweats was caught on surveillance stealing $1,400 in merch from upscale makeup shop Sephora in the Bronx. 



At around 6 pm on March 27, cops said a man walked into the Sephora store located in the Bay Plaza Shopping Center. Cops said the suspect loaded up on merchandise and then fled the store without paying. 



Cops said the stolen merchandise is valued at $1,376. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect taken from inside the store. He is described as a male with a dark complexion, medium build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket, gray pants, and gray and white shoes.
