At a press conference at the federation’s headquarters on Bruckner Boulevard in the South Bronx, members claimed there have been nine robberies of taxi drivers in the prior two weeks, some ending with the drivers’ vehicles being stolen. This disease, often caused by cholesterol blockages in the blood vessels that feed our heart and body with blood, starts to develop when we are very young and can slowly progress over the course of many years.
