BRONX - The NYPD released new surveillance video of the suspects wanted in the Happy New Year stabbing on a Bronx train platform. 


Police are searching for four men in the stabbing of a straphanger at a Bronx train station. New surveillance video shows the four suspects walking on the street allegedly after the attack. 


At around 8:45 pm on January 1, a 29-year-old man was standing on the southbound platform of the “D” Train at the 182 Street-183 Street subway station. According to police the straphanger wished members of the group a “Happy New Year.” However, the well wisher and the group began arguing. Then members of the group pounced, repeatedly punching the victim. 


Cops said one member of the group pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed the victim throughout the body. 


The attackers then ran out of the subway station to the street above. 


EMS rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was treated and listed in stable condition. 


The first suspect is described as a male with braids. He is 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 10 and has a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a red hoodie, multi-colored sneakers, and black pants. 


The second suspect is a male with glasses and braids whose height is from 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 10. He has a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black coat with a gray hoodie, black pants, and black and gray sneakers. 


The third suspect is described as a male with long hair and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a red and black coat with multiple designs on the hood and red and black checkerboard-style pants. 

The last suspect is a male with long hair, slim build and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black Canada goose coat, black pants, a black ski mask, and black sneakers.
