BRONX - A 16-year-old girl was slashed across the face as she was walking home from school during what the NYPD is calling an unprovoked attack. 


At around 4 pm on January 12, a 16-year-old girl was in front of 3777 White Plains Road in Olinville. Cops said a man dressed in a black hoodie and his face covered in a black balaclava, walked up to the girl. Without warning or saying a word, the man pulled out a knife and slashed the girl across the face. 


The attacker then walked off southbound on White Plains Road.  


The girl suffered serious injury and was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center. She is listed in stable condition.

Suspect Wanted in Rape of Girl Age 10


MANHATTAN - A 10-year-old girl was raped by a man she met on an app, cops said. 


The suspect well covered his face. He was dressed in a black hoodie with a white logo on the left corner of the chest. He also wore black pants and a grey backpack. He also wore black and white sneakers with purple or blue laces.
