BRONX - The NYPD released new photos of a suspect wanted for slashing a teen across the face during an unprovoked attack. The new photos clearly show the suspect’s face which was hidden during the attack, cops said. 


The NYPD released the new surveillance photos of the suspect that clearly show the man’s face. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, heavy build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, and a grey backpack. He wore a black hoodie with a  logo of a marijuana leaf in grey on the chest. He also wore black sweatpants and black and white sneakers.

MANHATTAN - Police are investigating why a 74-year-old man was stabbed to death inside a Sugar Hill building. One person was taken into custody, the NYPD said.

At around 4 pm on January 12, a 16-year-old girl was in front of 3777 White Plains Road in Olinville. Cops said a man dressed in a black hoodie and his face covered in a black balaclava, walked up to the girl. Without warning or saying a word, the man pulled out a knife and slashed the girl across the face. 


The attacker then walked off southbound on White Plains Road.  


The girl suffered serious injury and was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center. She is listed in stable condition.
