BRONX - Police have identified the 61-year-old man who was found stabbed to death inside the stairwell of his Fordham apartment building in the Bronx. 


At around 1:30 am, police responding to a 911 call at 2415 Creston Avenue, found a 61-year-old man in the second-floor stairwell of the building. He was found with multiple stab wounds to the neck and torso. 


The victim was rushed to nearby St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

MANHATTAN - A Chinatown resident was attacked and called a “terrorist” during an unprovoked attack, the NYPD said. The case is being investigated as a possible hate crime.

Police have identified the victim as 61-year-old Tyrone Padilla. Cops said he lived in the building. 


At this time police have not released a description of the suspect or a motive for the murder.
