BRONX - A group of knife-wielding robbers menaced and ripped off a Bronx fruit seller, the NYPD said.

At around noon on January 18, a 34-year-old woman was working at a fruit market in the Bedford Park section of the Bronx. Cops said a group of three males walked up to the woman and displayed a knife. They demanded that she had over the cash.

The group took $200 and ran off without further violence.

Unfortunately for the thieves they did not look up. Although the fruit vendor was robbed outside the shop, the market was underneath the building’s scaffolding. Security cameras hung from underneath the scaffolding captured images of the robbery suspects who did not cover their faces prior to pulling out the knife.

All three suspects are males with medium complexions and thin builds. One suspect wore a black winter coat with a white fur collar. He wore a black hoodie underneath and a black mask.

The second suspect wore a red winter jacket with a tan fur collar. He wore a black hoodie underneath and black pants.

The third suspect wore a thin black winter coat with a grey hoodie underneath. He wore a greens surgical mask.
