BRONX - An elderly woman was robbed up the road from Yankee Stadium on Christmas Eve, the NYPD said. 


At around 1 pm on December 24, a 70-year-old woman was standing on the corner of River Avenue and East 167 Street near the Yankee Stadium parking garages. Cops said a man in a black hoodie and bright red sneakers ran up to her and ripped $20 out of her hands. The robber then ran off. 


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect. The suspect is described as 5 foot 8 with a dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and red sneakers.

Duane Reade Employee Assaulted During Gummy Bear Shoplifting 


MANHATTAN - Shoplifters near Fulton Street beat a Duane Reade employee during a dispute over Gummy Bears, the NYPD said.
