BRONX - A Bronx woman had her gold chain ripped off her neck in the wink of an eye from a thief riding on a moped, the NYPD said.

At around 12:30 pm on November 15, an 18-year-old woman was walking on the Grand Concourse near Fordham Road. Cops said a man on a black moped raced up to her. The rider reached over and ripped the gold chain off the woman’s neck.

The thief rode off eastbound on E. 188th Street but not before surveillance cameras on the street captured an image of the thief.

EMS took the victim to Saint Barnabas where she was treated for lacerations to her neck.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black mask, black jacket and black pants.

The moped is described as being black in color with two wheels and having a distinct metal rack on the rear.
