At around 8 pm on April 27, a 29-year-old male got into an argument with another man on board a BX15 bus. In the vicinity of East 183 Street and 3rd Avenue both men got off the bus and the fight escalated on the street.

Cops Attacked for Telling Riders to Put Out Smokes

BRONX - Cops were attacked inside a Bronx subway station when they tried to eject a group of men who refused to stop smoking in the station, the NYPD said. One suspect is still at large.



At around 2:30 pm on November 13, two uniformed officers approached a group of men whom they told to put out their smokes. The trio had walked into the Freeman Street subway station with lit cigarettes.


The officers told the men to put out their cigarettes and the group refused. As the cops tried to eject the trio from the station, officials said the men started swinging.

Video posted to Twitter shows the suspects punching the cops in the head and wrestling with the officers. The cops subdued the attackers and arrested two of them. 


The NYPD said one of the attackers is still at large and released surveillance video of the suspect.


Police arrested Kaream McClary, 23, and Izayiah Jessamy, 20, and charged them with assault.



The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and thin build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a bright yellow lining and red collar.
