BRONX - A 16-year-old is recovering after being stabbed in the stomach during a fight across from Fordham University. 



At around 11:35 am on October 6, a 16-year-old male had gotten into physical fight with a group of other youths at 406 East Fordham Road at Fordham Plaza. During the fight, one in the group pulled out a knife and stabbed the teen in the stomach. 


The attackers fled westbound on Fordham Road.

EMS took the victim to nearby Satin Barnabas Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male who is 5 foot 9 and 170 pounds. He has as light complexion and braided hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
