Two People Injured in Early-Morning Shooting on Briggs Avenue  By Dan Gesslein  Bronx Voice  November 11, 2025  BRONX LOCAL NEWS - The NYPD is searching for a female gunman who opened fire on a Bronx street wounding two people. Investigators would not disclose a motive for the shocking shooting. According to police, the gunfire erupted just after midnight, around 12:08 a.m. on November 6, 2025 in front of 2561 Briggs Avenue.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the female suspect wanted in the callous shooting across the street from the Fordham Road Library.  An unidentified person reportedly opened fire, hitting a 27-year-old woman in the back and a 42-year-old man in the right hand. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, and both victims were taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital. Authorities say they’re in stable condition and expected to recover. BRONX - A teenager is recovering after being stabbed in the Bronx during an arguement near Hostos College, cops said. 




At around 2:40 pm on September 15, a 14-year-old boy was involved in a dispute with another male in the vicinity of East 151 Street and Grand Concourse. Cops said as the argument escalated, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the teen in the back.

NEW YORK - A large group of females and males robbed a couple in Alphabet City. Police released numerous video images of the suspects, some wearing shower caps and hoodies, others look like students.

The attacker fled on foot in an unknown direction. 


The victim was rushed and treated at nearby NYC Health and Hospitals/ Lincoln. He was listed in stable condition. 


The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and black sneakers. He wore a black baseball cap and a black backpack.
