Robbers Choke Bodega Clerk

BRONX - Crooks choked a bodega clerk and robbed the store in Fort Schuyler, cops said.


At around 3:30 am on September 5, two men dressed in dark clothing entered the grocery store at 3569 East Tremont Avenue in the Fort Schuyler section of the Bronx.



One of the crooks put a 29-year-old employee in a chokehold. The other rummaged behind the counter and removed $700 cash.


The robbers exited the store and fled in an unknown direction.



The clerk refused medical attention.


The suspects are described as males with dark complexions and medium builds. Both wore dark clothing including hoodies.
