Gunman Sticks Up Train for $7

BRONX - A teenager was robbed at gunpoint by a stickup man inside a moving Bronx subway train.


At around 4:20 pm on August 28, a 14-year-old boy was riding inside a southbound Number 2 train. A man in a grey hoodie approached the teen and displayed a gun.



The gunman demanded cash and the teen handed over $7.


At the 219th Street Station the gunman got off the train and fled for the street below.



The victim was not injured.


The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie. He wore a dark vest over the hoodie. He also wore dark pants, white sneakers and a dark facemask.
