BRONX - A group of males and at least two females are wanted for a string of assaults and robberies around Parkchester, cops said. The last attack occurred across the street from where Amadou Diallo was gunned down by police.

Police released surveillance video of the young suspects who look like a group of teens going out to a club. However, cops said this group of at least seven, has been beating and robbing people in at least four attacks in a two-day period.

The first attack happened at around 4:30 am on August 2. A 62-year-old man was walking in front of a Chase Bank in Soundview, when a group of males and females approached him. The group attacked him and knocked him to the ground. While on the sidewalk the group continued to punch and kick him. Some of the members tried to remove property from the victim’s pocket but were unsuccessful.

Four days later the crew went on a crime spree.

The first victim was attacked inside the Parkchester train station. At around 1 am on August 6, a 33-year-old man was surrounded by the group of males and females. One of the members kicked the victim to the ground.

He quickly got up and ran out of the train station with the crew in pursuit.

The victim got as far as the corner of Benedict Avenue and Metropolitan Avenue when the attackers caught up. They knocked the man to the ground and began wailing on him. They ripped the victim’s iPhone 11 from his pocket and then ran off.

The victim sustained bruising to the head but refused medical attention.

Two hours later the crew struck again on the other side of the Parkchester station.

At around 3:30 am the group approached a 42-year-old man at Hugh J Grant Circle and Westchester Avenue. One of the members asked the man for money. When he refused they slapped him in the face and pushed him to the ground. As they continued to beat on the man, one of the males removed $50 cash from the victim’s pocket. The group then ran off.

The last attack occurred on Amadou Diallo Place - a few feet from where the African immigrant was gunned down by police in 1999 in a case where the officers mistakenly thought Diallo had a gun.

At around 4:30 am on August 6, a 37-year-old man was walking in front of 1148 Wheeler Avenue when the group caught up to him. The males approached from behind and pushed him to the ground.
