Police arrested 19-year-old Yerson Arzu of 138th Street. He was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

Investigators said Arzu shot and killed 28-year-old Carlos Gonzalez of Intervale Avenue.

EMS rushed the victim to nearby St. Barnabas Hospital but he was pronounced dead.

No motive for the early morning shooting or the reason why the gunman shot the victim so many times is unknown at this time.
